The on-going digitalization of aviation offers the ANS industry new opportunities within areas such as Air Traffic Services, Safety Management or Compliance to name just a few!

Remote Tower technology can improve the quality and the robustness of the service provision, but we have learned that every airport has its individual challenges and peculiarities, therefore: while some technological solutions may be a great fit for one airport, another airport might have very different needs and requires alternative solutions. It is our mission to understand which operational concepts, which technologies and which service levels are the ideal fit for your airport. If there is something we have learned from the 17 airports we are operating today, it is: “one size doesn’t fit all”

ACR is currently developing a Smart Remote™ concept. This is an operational concept, which is using base elements of current remote tower technology and combines that with existing ATC /AFIS infrastructure. The benefit of Smart Remote™ with existing staff locations that enables airports to offer increased service options outside published opening hours or in contingency or off-peak hours.
